This piece is outstanding for the sculpting technique in which the figures seem to free themselves from the stone block and take shape. Particularly noteworthy are the enamels on the stone and the distinct finish used on the skin and the fabrics. It was inspired by a classical icon of the Lladro assortment: Don Quixote (ref. 01001030)
