Classic Department 56 Holiday Building

If you want a building for your Fall holiday display that is not creepy or spooky, this is the one for you. "Gather Round for Thanksgiving" gives you the sensation of Autumn with a special holiday touch. It has an interior lighted scene of a Thanksgiving dinner table- with all of the fixin's. It also adorned with gourds and a corn stalk to give you that unmistakable holiday harvest feel. The matching figurine "Touchdowns, Turkey and Pie" complements the building, with the child holding a hand painted turkey, the dad holding a football, and the mom holding a pie. Hand painted with lots of detail. A rare Thanksgiving piece and Department 56 classic!

I’ll take the Drumstick!

Department 56 certainly designed a lovely centerpiece item for Thanksgiving with its presentation of “Gather Found for Thanksgiving”. I added the accompanying accessory piece “Touchdown, Turkey & Pie”. The fall trees in all their autumn glory is perfect with the colors and design of the Thanksgiving house. A final special touch was the 3-D view of the Thanksgiving table. You can almost smell the pumpkin pie and roasted turkey. This house and accessory will be part of our family celebration for years to come.

New Thanksgiving house

I just recently added this house “Gather round for Thanksgiving” and I was not disappointed! Love the beautiful colors of the house and of course the lighted scene in the window! If you are on the fence about purchasing the new Fall pieces I would definitely recommend! And don’t forget the accessory “Touchdown turkey and pie.” It’s a must have to compete your set! Jim Shore - Santa Around the World India

I ordered this Santa and when it arrived it was obviously damaged. The box was mailed in a thin mailing envelope which left it to be crushed by other items in delivery. When I opened the package the box was slit on one side and the corners were crushed. I took pictures and sent an email explaining why I was returning this Santa. When I returned this Santa, I paid extra for a sturdy box to make certain it would not receive further damage. My UPS charge was $16.01. I am a collector of these JS Santas and I want my boxes in very good condition should I ever sell them. Had this item been properly packaged, this would not have happened. I asked for a gift card return as a refund would be even less money back on my credit card. I hesitate to order something else in fear of the same mailing conditions. I did order another India Santa from another source and it arrived in perfect condition as it was mailed in a cardboard box with bubble wrap inside and the price was much less from this company. I fee bad about this experience with your company.

Needs a C battery to light up. Bought It for one of my sons who is a huge Ghostbuster fan. He'll enjoy it for his birthday, real cute.

A wonderful bird

I love the items of Jim Shore, I especially collect Santas. This robin is for an Irish friend. The robin is a popular bird often associated with Christmas in Great Britain. Symbolism: In folklore, the robin is often seen as a symbol of death and mourning, and interpreted as a comforting sign that a deceased relative is visiting.
