This is a beautifully designed music box by Cottage Garden Collections that features a Distressed Creamy finish. It plays a high quality Sankyo music mechanism that can be seen on the inside of the box through protective glass. It plays the tune Brahm's Lullaby. It has a photo frame lid so the picture can be exchange for a personal photo. The feet are cushioned so they don't scratch surfaces. The box has a cavity for storing jewelry and keepsakes. The inside is lined in nice black velvet. The hinges prevent the lid from falling all the way back and getting damaged when opened. This makes a beautiful gift for any age

At first, I was expecting this piece to be rather large but was happy with the "smaller" size being that I was struggling to buy this piece worrying about having to store a very large box as I'll be starting off a new village with this collection. The detail is not lacking and I am quite happy with the size of the building.
