A little history on the Walt Disney World Character:
Leota, a witch from Salem, Massachusetts, fled to Hudson River Valley, New York, after inadvertently sparking the Salem Witch Trials. There, she opened "Memento Mori Curios and Curiosities," selling supernatural items and offering "spirit photography." Leota befriended the wealthy Gracey Family, who later buried her in their plot upon her death.
