Witch Way Gnome - Witch Gnome From Gnomes Collection

I was a bit disappointed in the size, as I was hoping for something about the size of the Black Cat Gnome. On reflection, however, I realize that was a bit silly of me, as this Witch is the perfect size to display with the Black Cat Gnome. (I was simply hoping to display several more gnomes with it and my mental layout got joggled by reality. ) I am new to collecting Jim Shore gnomes, and so thought (and still think) The Witch is less "gnomish" than I'd come to expect from pictures of Mr. Shore other gnomes. The conical proportions are different and, of course, there are the arms. But I can see the artistic decisions that resulted in it being as it is. The detail (as I would expect of Mr. Shores work) is very nice and it does look very good with the Cat, which I'd also purchased. I've been rapidlly warming to this little witch. The shipping was prompt and the choices at this shop were fun to browse. I'll be back.
