I bought the adapter to use on one of the Dept. 56 Halloween Village items. It came with a box for two C batteries, but I have an aversion to buying batteries and tossing them in the trash, so I was glad to have another option. I only have one piece now to plug into an outlet; however, it will be nice if I ever have other pieces to add because there are two other cords to use for that purpose.

I have multiple items in my Halloween display that used these adapters. It saves on batteries and having to turn on each piece individually.

As my Halloween Village keeps growing, you can never have enough adapters. It sure helps with the cord mess under the table(s). That's where the adapter comes in. The best part is I got it on sale. That is hardly ever the case. Thanks Country Gifts & More. You rock!!
