Pip and Pop's Bubble Works From Department 56 Collection

Growing up, bubble lights were my mom's favorite Christmas thing to display. So when I saw this, I knew i had to have one. Great village to add to your collection.

The Bubble Works is so nostalgic from a time long ago when bubble lights graced Christmas trees. My grandparents displayed one that dated back to their parents. I feel I am displaying a part of Christmas history. Thanks, Department 56 for the memories and Christmas history. Only down side is the accessory for the building is virtually unavailable or at an enormous price. maybe they can come up with something affordable and available. Lovely piece.

I really like the bubble light -- just like the old Christmas tree lights that bubbled.

This item was delivered in a very timely manner and accompanied with shipping updates. The item was as depicted and described. My rambunctious 16-month-old grandson would sit quietly awaiting the light to heat up and the bubbling action to commence which always elicited delighted clapping. I hope it will work just as well when unpacked again for my Christmas display.
